Nursing Home staff get on their bikes

JULY 2017: Staff at Washington Lodge Nursing Home saddled up and presented us with a superb donation of £375!
They took part in a sponsored bikeathon and the first kilometer was started by nine-year-old Kieran, who is the grandson of the home's Registered Manager, June Smith.
June is pictured here (far right) presenting a cheque to our Chairman Ernie Thompson, while some users of our service look on.
Thanks to all who took part. It's very much appreciated!
Soroptimist's Memory Walk
raises funds

Members of Soroptimist International Sunderland raised cash for us earlier this year with a Memory Walk along Seaburn.
Supporters of Action on Dementia Sunderland joined the Soroptimists to give them a send-off, as the photograph shows.
Many thanks again to the Soroptimists for their continued support this year. It is very much appreciated.
£800 donation from
Durham Freemasons

Our latest large donation comes from the Benevolence Committee of Durham Freemasons. We received the £800 they have raised for us at our AGM in September. Thank you to everyone who has raised this amount. Also thanks to everyone who has been donating money. So many of you don't request publicity, but we are grateful for every penny.
THE SOROPTIMISTS

We are delighted to announce that the Soroptimists in Sunderland have chosen us as their Charity of the Year. We thank them for their support.
